One framework for every DGroup Project
Walk through these four steps as a group before you open any project guide.
Prepare
Identify who you want to reach, choose the project, set dates and format, assign roles, and review materials early.
Pray
Write down specific names. Pray for open hearts, wisdom, unity, Gospel conversations, and next steps.
Plug & Play
Use current official CCF resources and follow the intended teaching flow and requirements.
Follow Through
Assign follow-up before the event ends. Reconnect, invite to a DGroup, and keep discipling.
Five pathways. One purpose.
Pick the project that fits the people you are trying to reach. Each guide covers format, preparation, the session path, and a facilitator checklist.
True Life
CCF’s evangelistic on-ramp for seekers and brand-new believers — moving from God’s love and the Gospel into first steps of discipleship.
- 6–20 participants
- Weekend intensive or multi-week
- Baptism coordinated with leadership
How to implement
1 · Choose the format
Weekend intensive: all eight sessions across Friday evening and Saturday. Multi-week: one or two sessions per DGroup meeting over several weeks.
2 · Prepare prayerfully
Pray over and personally invite participants. Read each workbook session ahead of time, rehearse discussion questions, gather workbooks, pens, Bibles, and AV, and arrange a co-facilitator where helpful.
3 · Set a safe tone
Ask everyone to arrive on time and silence phones. Protect confidentiality, don’t record personal sharing, listen respectfully, and avoid judgment.
4 · Follow the session rhythm
Welcome → Talk About It → Apply It → Pray It. A typical flow: 10 min welcome, 30–40 min discussion, 10 min application, 10 min prayer.
5 · Protect sensitive moments
Keep confession private. Overcoming Strongholds should be led only by someone experienced and prepared, or alongside a seasoned leader or staff member. Know the pastor/care referral pathway beforehand.
6 · Coordinate baptism
Baptism is voluntary and should be coordinated with church leadership in advance.
7 · Follow through within the week
Personally contact each participant, connect them to a DGroup and GLC Level 1, record decisions and baptism follow-through, report outcomes, and prayerfully identify a possible future host.

Facilitator checklist
Evangelifestyle
An interactive workshop that helps participants practice sharing the Gospel as a way of life.
- 4 sessions
- Condensed workshop or weekly
- Watch → Do → Practice → Debrief → Commit
Choose your format
Option A · Condensed workshop
Combine Sessions 1–2, use the Oikos Map during the break, then combine Sessions 3–4. Preview the video and confirm natural stopping points first.
Option B · Four short sessions
Recommended for weekly small groups. Each meeting runs about 60–75 minutes with practice immediately after teaching.
4-session path
Session 1 · The Heart & the Harvest
Establish why Gospel sharing is every believer’s calling: icebreaker, teaching clip, Harvest Wall activity, ambassador reflection, and a commitment to pray for specific people.
Session 2 · Pray & Care
Practice Pray–Care–Share and starting conversations with Ask · Admire · Admit. Build an Oikos Map of family, work/school, neighbors, and friends.
Session 3 · Share Your Story
Each participant writes and practices a one-minute testimony using Before → How → After.
Session 4 · Share the Gospel
Connect the testimony to the Gospel using the Best Decision booklet, practice the transition, use 2×2 role-play, and send participants out with a concrete plan to share.

2Be1 Couples’ Retreat
A Christ-centered marriage retreat built around biblical teaching, meaningful couple conversations, and intentional time together.
- 2 days or 3 days / 2 nights
- ≤ 4 couples per facilitator
- Official materials used unmodified
Implementation requirements
Use the full official retreat
Use official 2Be1 materials as provided. Content and designs should not be modified.
Confirm an approved duration
Two days (stay-out or stay-in) or three days / two nights (stay-in).
Build the facilitator team
Facilitators must be trained, with a maximum of 4 couples per facilitator.
Four weeks out
Read the workbook and session guides, confirm dates, venue, and co-facilitators, obtain approvals, open registration, and request official materials early.
One to two weeks out
Review each session, prepare brief authentic testimonies, confirm worship, food, childcare, workbooks, name tags, and AV, and pray by name for registered couples.
Create a safe environment
State confidentiality clearly. Keep sharing couple-facing rather than group-facing, never force disclosure, avoid fixing or shaming, and protect private couple-conversation time.
Facilitate — don’t counsel
Ask good questions, protect time, and point discussion back to Scripture and Christ. Don’t diagnose, treat, referee, or take sides; refer to pastoral care when needed.

Retreat checklist
M.O.T.I.V.A.T.E.
Equips parents, grandparents, mentors, and disciplers to influence the people closest to them toward Christlikeness. Eight principles are taught across nine sessions. The goal isn’t finishing the workbook — it’s for every participant to leave each session with one Scripture-grounded action step and one person to share it with.
- 9 sessions
- Full day, two half-days, or weekly
- Groups of 4–10
- Parents, mentors & disciplers
How to implement
1 · Choose your format
A · Full day — church-wide seminars and retreats. 40-minute sessions (Session 8: 50), about 9½ hours.
B · Two half-days — weekend or Saturday equipping. Sessions 1–5 on Day 1, 6–9 on Day 2; 45-minute sessions (Session 8: 55).
C · Weekly mini-series — home DGroups and small groups. Nine 90-minute meetings (ten if Session 8 is split).
All three cover the same nine sessions. Minute-by-minute timetables are in Part 2 of the Facilitator’s Manual.
2 · Prepare two weeks out
Confirm format, venue, dates, and facilitator team. Secure GLC permission for printed workbooks and order or print copies. Review the safeguarding section with every facilitator, then open registration.
3 · Prepare each session
Complete the session yourself — paraphrase, answer every question, write your own “I will.” Mark the priority questions, prepare the activity materials, have a short personal story ready (including one failure), and pray for each participant by name. Send a reminder 1–2 days before with a nudge about last week’s action point.
4 · Follow the six-movement flow
Read It → volunteers read each verse aloud. Paraphrase It → each writes a “My Words” version; 2–3 share. Talk About It → everyone speaks at least once. Point It Out → summarize the teaching after the group shares. Apply It → each writes one SMART “I will…” statement. Share It → each names a specific person to share with this week.
Coach vague goals toward specifics: “I will be more patient” becomes “I will use P-R-A-Y before responding when my son argues about screen time this week.”
5 · Set the tone in Session 1
Read the group guidelines aloud: confidentiality, listen more and talk less, no fixing, speak for yourself, honor others’ stories, and show up prepared. You are a guide, not a lecturer — go first with honest answers, including a real failure of your own.
6 · Lead mixed rooms well
Tell non-parents in Session 1 that every principle applies to spiritual children, mentees, siblings, students, and coworkers. Keep language accessible for not-yet-believers. Consider separate men’s and women’s breakouts for Sessions 4 and 8. Over 10 people? Split into subgroups for Talk About It.
7 · Close and commission
In the last 30–35 minutes: review the acronym together, share takeaways, pray over participants as influencers, invite them to join or lead a DGroup or co-facilitate the next cycle, and collect feedback forms.
8 · Follow through for 30 days
Days 1–3: thank-you message with the eight principles. Week 1: personal check-in on one “I will.” Week 2: connect interested participants to a DGroup. Week 3: share a testimony in the group chat. Week 4: second check-in and invitation to facilitator training. Day 30: report attendance, testimonies, and feedback.

#LIFEGOALS
A discussion series on biblical success, purpose, work, finances, family, balance, and legacy — an easy invitation for friends and coworkers who aren’t yet connected to church.
- Weekly discussion series
- Great for seekers & professionals
- Bridges into a DGroup
How to implement
1 · Invite around a felt need
Position the series as a conversation about success, purpose, work, finances, family, and legacy — topics people already think about. Personal invitations from DGroup members work best.
2 · Choose a welcoming setting
A home, café, or workplace breakroom can feel easier for first-timers than a church building. Keep it hospitable: food, name tags, and a warm welcome.
3 · Schedule the series
Pick a consistent weekly time and assign facilitator, host, AV, hospitality, and follow-up roles before the first meeting.
4 · Prepare each session
Review the official workbook and video, prepare one strong opening question, and protect discussion time — people stay when they feel heard.
5 · Keep it conversational
Let guests ask honest questions. Point back to Scripture and Christ without pressure, and be ready to continue deeper conversations one-on-one.
6 · Bridge to discipleship
As the series closes, personally invite participants who aren’t connected to continue in a DGroup or another next-step environment. Consider True Life as a natural next step for seekers.
Sample meeting flow · 75 min
- Food & welcome · 15 minHospitality opens the door
- Opening question · 10 minEasy for everyone to answer
- Video / teaching · 20 minFrom the official session material
- Discussion · 20 minHonest questions welcome
- Takeaway & prayer · 10 minOffer prayer; never require it
